There is a line in the book, The Psychology of Money, that I’ve thought about every day since first reading it.
“I have no sunk costs.”
Even though my financial advisor recommended the book after a conversation about investing, I’m seeing the value of those words in a lot of different places in business and life.
What about you? Where is your attachment to sunk costs holding you back or slowing you down?
It’s rarely a comfortable question because we don’t love the idea of wasting anything. But what if by attempting not to waste what’s behind us, we’re sacrificing what could be ahead?
Join me in this week’s video where I share the story from the book and invite all of us to let go of the sunk costs that aren’t serving us or the goals we find ourselves chasing.
